MASSAGE
Perhaps the most powerful benefit derived from massage is
its innate ability to induce a deep state of relaxation.
Scientific research is gathering evidence to strongly suggest
that many illnesses such as heart problems, constipation,
indigestion, ulcers, headaches, colitis, arthritis and even
some cancers can be caused by excess chronic tension.
The
ability for massage to promote tension release through relaxation
makes it a natural, enjoyable and inexpensive way to begin
a health maintenance program. This release of tension will
not only prevent expensive medical bills in the future,
but will also aid in improving performance and preventing
injury in athletic endeavors.

AFTER MASSAGE CARE
Sooooooo
... you've just had a massage. Here are a few suggestions
for after massage care:
Drink 1-2 gallons of distilled water over the next few days.
Plan to take time to relax after your treatment.
Have
peace of mind that you are doing good things for your body.
Take a very warm bath with mineral salts.
Purpose of bath: Salt is a mineral which will draw out the
toxins that have been loosened during your massage. Since
massage is like a workout for your body, the bath will reduce
the possibilities of soreness after therapy. You may also
use this bath after strenuous exercise or activities.
Recipe for bath
1 oz. mineral salts
Water temperature as warm as tolerable
Soak for 20-30 minutes just before bedtime.
Enjoy soothing music, candlelight, herb tea, etc. during
the bath
Please
use caution when entering the bath area as there may be
oil residue from the massage on your feet.
